Family Roofers for Over 50 Years - John McNamara, a fireman by trade, was a part-time contractor who painted houses and handled roofing projects. As he began to build a reputation in the roofing industry, he was approached by a Cleveland roofing contractor who suggested he use his Irish gift of gab to sell roofing jobs for them rather than doing the work himself. You Call - We Haul - In the early 1990s Len Julio used his pickup truck to haul away some scrap aluminum siding for a friend who was doing a siding job. After helping on a few more jobs, Len realized that if he had a larger truck he could handle more jobs and might be able to earn a living hauling trash. He purchased a twenty-five yard truck, had it outfitted with a hoist, and founded L.J. Hauling, Inc. in 1993. Searching for a solution, Kathleen went to the library where she found a video tape about infant massage. She took the tape home, plugged it in, and began to give her babies a massage which calmed them down immediately. Even better, it had a calming effect on Kathleen as well. Making You Feel at Home in Our Home - Joseph L. and Virginia Fortuna founded Fortuna Funeral Home on Fleet Avenue in the heart of Cleveland's Slavic Village in April 1958. They quickly established a personal relationship with the community as they sought to provide others with compassion, comfort, and understanding in their time of need.
